(“SilkNomads”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in accordance with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). It applies to our website, communications, and the travel services we provide for journeys to Uzbekistan.

  •   All travel consulting and travel-planning services provided by SilkNomads

  •   All communications with us by email, phone, online forms, or in person

    

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, airlines, hotels, local guides, or any other service provider you may interact with during your travels. Their own privacy policies will apply.

As a BC-registered travel agency, SilkNomads is committed to protecting the personal information under our control. We collect only the information necessary to provide our services and we safeguard it with reasonable physical, administrative, and technological measures.

 

3. What Personal Information We Collect

To arrange travel services for you, we may collect:

  • Name, date of birth, and contact information

  • Passport details required for visa support letters

  • Emergency contact information

  • Special requirements or preferences (dietary, mobility, medical notes voluntarily provided)

  • Payment-related information

  • Travel preferences, itinerary requests, and communication history

                  

We do not collect information for flights into or out of Uzbekistan, as SilkNomads does not arrange or sell international air travel.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 18 without parental consent.

  • To plan and deliver customized trips and travel arrangements inside Uzbekistan

  • To communicate with you regarding your itinerary, changes, confirmations, and updates

  • To process payments for land-based services

  • To coordinate with trusted third-party suppliers in Uzbekistan (hotels, drivers, guides, and tour operators)

Personal information shared with travel partners abroad may be stored or processed outside Canada and subject to foreign privacy laws.

SilkNomads does not disclose personal information to unrelated third parties for marketing purposes.
